Throughout our district, students will be learning about the history of the month, as well as celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of different Indigenous people during the month of November.

There will be no school for students on Thursday 11/23 and Friday 11/24 for Thankgiving break. Enjoy the long weekend and happy Thankgiving!

Monday - Color BAS with Kindness! Wear your favorite color.
Tuesday - Comfy Clothes/Pajama Day. Wear your favorite pajamas or comfy clothes. No slippers.
Wednesday - BAS School Spirit Day and Student Pep Rally! Wear your BAS Spirit Wear and/or Blue and Yellow.

No lunch will be served, but please pack a water and snack. For Kindergarten, only PM kindergarten students will attend school. Arrival will be at 8:20 AM and dismissal at 11:00 AM.

Do you know a classroom teacher or educational services professional who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference? Nominate a teacher or educational professional (CST member, counselor, paraprofessional, nurse, etc.) using the form linked above! **Please submit by Wednesday 11/22!**

Join us for a fun and interactive evening of science and art! Participants will have the opportunity to attend a fun and engaging presentation and take part in a coordinating classroom project. To RSVP and/or volunteer, please click the link above.

Don't know what to do with all that extra Halloween Candy? Donate it to a good cause!
BAS is holding a post-Halloween candy collection, and will be donating the candy to kids who weren't able to trick or treat this year. Collection bins will be in the main hallway at BAS. See link above for more details.

Irvin Simon will be back for individual retakes on November 13. If you would like a retake, please send an email with your child’s name and class to Nicole McDermott ([email protected]).
