Take Your Child to Work Day is an annual event held on the 4th Thursday of April. This year's event will be on April 23, 2026 with the theme, "The Future is @ Work," empowering young people to take bold steps toward their dreams, fostering the confidence and resilience they need to succeed." Students who opt to take part in this program will not be penalized for a day of absence from school.
As noted above, this year's event takes place on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
If your child is going to work with a parent/guardian and will not be in school, please complete and submit the form- CLICK HERE- for each individual child- on or before Tuesday, April 21, 2026. This will assist us with attendance and enable the classroom teacher to plan appropriate lessons. Completing the form will eliminate the need to call in for your child’s absences.
